This project is near and dear to Katie’s heart. First Baptist Christian School is where her daughter goes to school, so she knows firsthand what FBCS families need from the school’s website.

The old WordPress site was outdated, and important information was hard to find. Parents had to dig for event dates, enrollment details and school resources, and making updates was a challenge for the school’s staff.

We rebuilt the site from the ground up in Wix Studio with two audiences in mind: the families who rely on it every day, and the school administrators who keep it current. The new homepage welcomes visitors with the school’s message, “Where Faith Meets Excellence,” and shares what makes FBCS special at a glance: small class sizes, a 1:14 student-teacher ratio and a 99% college attendance rate. From there, families can explore each stage of their child’s education through dedicated Lower, Middle and High School pages.

Everything parents need is now easy to reach. A built-in events calendar keeps families up to date on what’s happening at school. A resources page puts important documents in one place, and student life pages showcase athletics, clubs, activities and the arts. Clear enrollment buttons throughout the site guide prospective families straight to the application, and testimonials from current FBCS parents let new families hear from the school community.

Best of all, the school’s administrators can now make updates on the fly, from adding events to posting news, without waiting on outside help. Parents find what they need faster, and FBCS has a website that reflects the warm, close-knit community that makes it special. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
